We’re opening our doors and inviting you to come and sew with us at a special price – it can be anything you like!

Maybe you want some help with a mend or alteration,  you want to use our cutting tables, or could do with some assistance deciphering pattern instructions or learning techniques.

Jo, our garment making specialist is teaching in the morning, followed by Gaye our mending and sewing all rounder in the afternoon! Stay for one and both, and bring whatever you’d like to sew, mend or alter. We have plenty of beginner projects available if you’d just like some supervised practise – zippered pouches, reversible totes and more!

$75 per person for each session – if you’d like to stay for the day make sure you add both sessions to your cart and then use code OPENDAY for 10% off!

Skill Level: You can  thread up and use a sewing machine at a basic level.  Please note that due to the unstructured nature of the day we won’t have time to teach you how to use a machine if you’re an absolute beginner.  You’re welcome to attend our Sewing Machine Basics course the previous weekend if you’re interested in getting started (places are limited)!
