Cancellations and Refunds
- All bookings are considered final and refunds will be given at management’s absolute discretion
- Refunds must be requested via email to bookings@schoolofsewingandupcycling.com.au
- Refund requests for COURSES are subject to the following:
- If a refund is requested at least fourteen (14) days before the course commencement date, you may receive full refund, or transfer of course
- If a refund is requested less than fourteen (14) days before the course commencement date or during the course duration, no refund will be offered without extenuating circumstances (e.g. medical emergency), to be decided at the absolute discretion of management
- Refund requests for WORKSHOPS are subject to the following:
- If a refund is requested at least seven (7) days before the workshop date, you may receive full refund, or transfer
- If a refund is requested less than seven (7) days before the workshop date, no refund will be offered without extenuating circumstances (e.g. medical emergency), to be decided at the absolute discretion of management
- Non-attendance at a CLASS or WORKSHOP is not refundable
- Non-attendance at a WORKSHOP is not transferable to future courses or workshops.
If We Have to Cancel a Workshop or Course
- We endeavour to run every workshop and course we list however on occasion may be forced to cancel (e.g. teacher illness, insufficient bookings). In the unlikely event we cancel we will notify you as soon as practicable.
- A full refund or a credit will be offered. Credit is valid for one year.
Make-up Classes
- Make up classes may be requested for COURSES only
- Only one (1) make up class per course enrolment will be offered
- Requests for make-up classes must be emailed to management at bookings@schoolofsewingandupcycling.com.au
- Management (not individual teachers) reserves the right to approve or deny make up class requests at its absolute discretion. Make up classes may not be appropriate for all courses.
- If a make-up class is offered, management will reply to the request email with options for make-up classes. Dates and times of make-up classes are subject to course placement availability.
- Make-up classes are not transferrable between courses or beyond the duration of the course. Upon the ending of a course, no make-up classes will be offered.
- If you know you are unable to attend one class instance during your course, it is recommended that you plan as early as possible for the most likelihood of being offered a suitable make-up class.
- Make up classes are not refundable and not transferrable for discount towards future courses
Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of purchase.
- If a course, workshop or private session has been specified on a gift voucher, any increase in price that may have occurred between the time of purchase and use of the voucher must be covered by the student.
