Learn three ways to finish necklines, armholes and other edges on both woven and stretch garments so they look amazing!

In this workshop you will learn:

• two techniques for preparing and applying a bias binding to neatly finish a neckline
• essential methods for sewing on a facing for a smart and structured finish including the wonder of understitching!
• how to apply a pucker- or flop- free neckband to a stretch garment

Skill level: You know the fundamentals of threading and operating a sewing machine and can sew simple items. If you are an absolute beginner, it is recommended that you attend one of our Sewing Machine Basics workshops as a pre requisite for enrolling in this workshop.

We will provide: Sewing machines and equipment if required. All fabrics for sampling and practice.

Bring along: Your sewing machine if you have one you would prefer to learn on. A basic sewing kit to minimise sharing of equipment.
