Beyond Basics Short Course – Tuesday evenings

Build on those skills you have learned in your Beginners or Learn-to-Sew courses!

Course overview: Get the expert guidance on a project of your choice. We can make recommendations for stylish and straight-forward patterns and fabric to match, to give you the confidence you need to continue your sewing journey!

You will need to purchase a sewing pattern and fabric of your choice. We will help guide you and will have a list of prescribed patterns we recommend for your skill level.

Skill level: Open to those who have completed Beginners, Learn-to-Sew and Beginners PLUS students (or those who have previous basic sewing skills). This is a great course for out-of-practice or self-taught sewists who want to get back into sewing or learn more formally.

Men and non-binary folk are encouraged to attend. Open to adults and young adults (minimum age 14 yo)! Feel free to contact us if you are unsure if this level is best for you.

We will provide: Sewing machines and overlockers. All other sewing equipment.  (BYO machines and sewing kit if you prefer).

Booking Policies:  Due to our small class numbers, our courses are NON REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE. Be sure to familiarise yourself with all our Refund and Cancellation Policies before booking to avoid disappointment.
Make-up classes for missed classes are offered at our discretion depending on availability however we will do our best to fit you in.

Payment Options: Secure Credit Card (via Stripe) or Direct Deposit. If selecting Direct Deposit, payment is required within 24 hours of booking to secure your place. Our bank details are in the confirmation email you will receive upon booking. 

For bookings made more than 6 weeks in advance, payment can be made in two instalments (Direct Deposit only) with the 50% balance due three weeks before the commencement of classes.
