Learn the incredibly useful life-skill of sewing for making and mending!

Beginning with the basics, you will gain the sewing skills you need to get started on making homewares, clothes and crafts. Each week you will build up your practice and learn new techniques by sewing 2 – 3 fun projects!

Skill level: Absolute Beginner. If you can already confidently use a machine to make simple items such as the above, and are interested in learning more about making garments, read about our Beginners Plus and Beyond Basics Courses (both commencing early February).

We will provide: Sewing machines in you don’t have your own or can’t bring it to class. All other equipment, handout notes, patterns for the projects, fabrics as required and lots of very practical advice and techniques!

Bring along: Your own sewing machine if you would  like to learn on that and some basic sewing equipment if you have it.  If you don’t yet have a machine don’t worry you can use one of ours. If you would like to purchase a good quality basic sewing kit we sell Sewing Starter Packs
