Textile Art for Kids! Summer Holiday Workshop

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Get arty! This Fabric and Wire Sculpture workshop for kids is run by emerging artist and current kids sewing teacher, Kate Marshall.

It is an opportunity for children with some sewing experience to apply their practical skills to a creative project. The workshop will start with time to draw, design and develop a theme or creative idea, and then time to experiment, play, and learn new ways of working with fabric to create a sculpture unique to the child’s imagination. School holiday sewing workshops are open to kids aged between 8 and 16.

All upcycled materials will be provided.

There will be a maximum of 6 students so that each can get one-on-one help to bring their ideas to life.

Friday 10th January

9.30am-3.30pm

The examples provided are wire and fabric works made by Kate, but they are just for inspiration – all the students’ ideas are welcome!
