This comprehensive e course includes a four-week LEARN TO SEW course, a six-week BEGINNERS PLUS course and a six-week BEYOND BASICS course, all at the same time, across 16 Saturdays, with the same teacher – Jo!

Course overview: Mastering the skills involved to sew from the very beginning – ll the basics you need to know as well as the consistency of teacher and time to help really drive home your new-found skills. These courses are of course available separately, but if you would like to bundle them right here – you’ll make a saving of $220!

Starting with some simple projects like zippered pouch and tote bags (all materials provided!) you will then progress to pyjama pants or a box top. Get Jo’s help to help you select a project for “the next step” – your introduction to garment making, including using a pattern and more. You will be able to complete at least a few simpler garments or one more complex garment across the Beginners Plus and Beyond Basics courses. Along with learning essential sewing techniques, we will show you how to adjust patterns and garments-in-progress to achieve an ideal fit. You will be required to purchase your own patterns and fabric for the more complex tasks in the final 12 weeks – please check out our amazing “suggested pattern” Pinterest board here! Any questions? Beginners Plus

Beyond Basics

Skill level: This course bundle is perfect for the absolute beginner, or those who feel a bit rusty and would like a safe space to re-discover their skills!  Open to adults and young adults (minimum age 14yo). Men and non binary folk are encouraged to attend! 

Booking Policies:  Due to our small class numbers (max 8) our courses are NON REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE. Be sure to familiarise yourself with all our Refund and Cancellation Policies before booking to avoid disappointment.
Make-up classes for missed classes are offered at our discretion depending on availability however we will do our best to fit you in.

Payment Options: Secure Credit Card (via Stripe) or Direct Deposit. If selecting Direct Deposit, payment is required within 24 hours of booking to secure your place. Our bank details are in the confirmation email you will receive upon booking. 

For bookings made more than 6 weeks in advance, payment can be made in two instalments (Direct Deposit only) with the 50% balance due three weeks before the commencement of classes.
