Make a Zippered Pouch in this fun gift-making workshop for beginners and those with some sewing machine experience.
Impress your friends and family with one of these stylish pouches for a handmade gift!
Learn how to insert a zip, add lining and make boxed corners. You will be delighted with the professional looking results!
We will finish at least one, but probably two pouches in the class. Your teacher will also discuss how you can customising the size and design of the pouch for future projects.
Our small class numbers (max 6) allow your teacher to give each student lots of personalised attention. The class requires a minimum of 4 students to proceed.
Skill level: For absolute beginners and sewists with basic sewing skills who know how to use a sewing machine. Men are encouraged to attend!
We will provide: All equipment and materials including a range of fabrics for making your pouch along with zips. Tea and coffee,
Bring along: Your own fabric, sewing machine and sewing kit if you prefer to use them rather than our materials and equipment.
Where: The Gaye Abandon School of Sewing and Upcycling, 122 Buckley St, Footscray.
When: Saturday December 15th 2pm – 5pm
