Build on your skills from your Overlocker workshops in this confidence-building class!

Course overview: 

The four weeks will see you get expert advice and tuition on your chosen project at our lovely bright and sunny studios in Footscray.

You will need to purchase a sewing pattern and fabric of your choice. We will help guide you and will have a list of prescribed patterns we recommend for your skill level. Please reach out if you would like guidance with this – or you can see a Pinterest board of our favorite simple knit projects here.

Skill level: Open to those who have completed an Overlocker Basics workshop but don’t yet have the confidence to dive into the self-driven stretch projects. This is a great course for out-of-practice or self-taught sewists who want to get back into sewing or learn more formally.

Men and non-binary folk are encouraged to attend. Open to adults and young adults (minimum age 14 yo)! Feel free to contact us if you are unsure if this level is best for you.

We will provide: Sewing machines and overlockers. All other sewing equipment.  (BYO machines and sewing kit if you prefer). Please bring your pattern of choice and fabric. We will always have some free patterns and fabric to purchase for $10 a piece so please don’t panic if you need something at the last minute to get started on!

Booking Policies:  Due to our small class numbers, our courses are NON REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE. Be sure to familiarise yourself with all our Refund and Cancellation Policies before booking to avoid disappointment.
Make-up classes for missed classes are offered at our discretion depending on availability however we will do our best to fit you in.

Payment Options: Secure Credit Card (via Stripe) or Direct Deposit. If selecting Direct Deposit, payment is required within 24 hours of booking to secure your place. Our bank details are in the confirmation email you will receive upon booking. 

For bookings made more than 6 weeks in advance, payment can be made in two instalments (Direct Deposit only) with the 50% balance due three weeks before the commencement of classes.
