Following on from this Sunday’s Intro to Bra Making workshop, Part Two is on April 8th and will focus on methods for constructing underwire bras. You will take home an underwire bra that fits you perfectly!
This workshop is also hosted by Zoe, a well known in the burlesque industry for her superbly made foundation garments from corsets to bullet bras! She has also worked extensively on theatre, film and television productions.

In this full-day beginner’s workshop, we will cover the basics – from measuring up, choosing pattern sizes, cutting the pieces and band to your size, to attaching straps, sliders and hooks. All materials are included.

Open Studio and Free Drop in Sewing this weekend!
The Gaye Abandon School of Sewing and Upcycling is excited to be part of Open Studios in the West this weekend.
On Saturday drop in for a squiz and some bubbles or tea between 3pm and 6pm or come anytime between 10am and 6pm on Sunday for some Social Sewing fun!
Bring along an unfinished sewing project or something to fix or alter and sit and stitch with us for a bit. We will provide sewing machines, overlockers, advice and sewing tips. There will be cake and scintillating conversation with like-minded sewists!
