Our next one day intensive for beginners!

Coming up is our popular Learn To Sew one day intensive!

It’s an introductory workshop for budding sewists wanting to make clothes, homewares and crafts using sewing patterns and a machine.  This workshop combines the key elements of our Sewing Machine and Sewing Pattern Basics workshops and is pitched at absolute beginners.

The next workshop is on the 17th of June 10am – 4:30pm, there’s only 3 spots left so get in quick and BOOK HERE!

Overlocker Basics Workshop

Overlocker Basics Workshop
Our Overlocker Basics Workshop returns May 12th!  Come along and learn how to use your machine to the fullest!

Overlockers can be daunting machines, especially when you have to thread them from scratch for the first time.  However once you’ve used one you’ll be converted. They give a professional finish and make for super speedy sewing especially when working with stretch fabrics.

Fashion Revolution week!

Fashion Revolution week is almost here and we’re thrilled to be hosting a Hand Mending event with Circa Vintage Clothing!

“Rather than buying new, we want people to fall back in love with their clothes, care for them for longer, and take a stand against fast fashion that ends up in landfill.”

Gaye will show you some visible mending stitching techniques to embellish and patch worn spots, or sit with Nicole for some old school darning to fix holes and rips like Grandma used to. We’ll also be sharing tips on fixing seam rips, taking up hems and sewing on buttons.

It’s on April 29th with all proceeds donated to Fashion Revolution. For all the details and to book into a session CLICK HERE.

New Casual sessions!

Our Open Level Sewing Course is for students of all levels, PLUS casual sessions are now available!

Regardless of your skill level, you will learn and practice invaluable sewing and finishing techniques that can be applied to many projects. Don’t worry if you have never used a sewing machine before, a second teacher will be on hand for the first two weeks of the course to guide you through the sewing machine basics.

Our small class numbers allow your teacher to give each student lots of personalised attention. Only TWO spots left! For all the details and to book CLICK HERE.
